The Garden

So, for those of you who went to The Dirt & The Flood opening the other night, you heard Knox speak of the CD title and what a garden means. This poem does not exactly parallel with Knox's description, however it was the poem in my devotion for the day of the concert, as well as the beginning of February's devotions. Yes, God connects everything.

I come to the garden alone,
While the dew is still on the roses;
And the voice I hear, ringing on my ear,
The son of God discloses;

And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own.
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.

C. Austin Miles (1868-1946)
